March 30 ,2020. Update. As per our governing bodies daily communications (Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors) we are still providing care to patients throughout the Covid-19 pandemic on an emergency basis only. To answer the question that is being asked of us daily, emergency care would be considered (as defined by our college) as follows. A. "The patient is in an acute condition where they would be severely physically limited from basic daily activities witho...ut chiropractic care." B. "The patient is in a sub-acute condition that if left untreated would be vulnerable to an acute flare-up that could leave them severely physically limited from basic daily activities." If you feel that you fall into either of the above categories then we can accommodate you for an appointment. We check the voicemail and email several times daily as our hours are on an as needed basis only. In speaking with my fellow colleagues at Accel Physical Therapy and Higher Health Acupuncture, they are following a similar model of care as recommended by their respective college.
