The Coalition to Save Lake Winnipeg Encounters More Delay from the City of Winnipeg. After many years of delay we are faced yet again with more delays in the completion of the North End Sewage Treatment Plant. On Thursday, March 25th Winnipeg City Council voted to pause the investment in the Biosolids Facility, indicating the lack of commitment for infrastructure funding from the Federal Government due to a delay in Provincial government request process. Back in early December of 2020, it came to our attention that government may looking at privatising the provincial parks.
