45 years ago this month I moved into the hOMe I had built with assistance from my uncle Wayne and other family who helped out . I had two banana boxes of belongings plus my carpenter tools. The villagers as a whole were less than friendly but Bordy McGill a local farmers who had befriended me showed up with this my first table.(look at the size of the oak planks)! His uncle had made it for him when he was a young man. The table has been used and taken care of and the enthusiastic perseverance path it has served , the symbol of how comforting and inspiring an act of kindness can be....
