Come out TONIGHT at 6 PM to RedChurch Café and Gallery for our first seminar of 2020: "What's the Deal with Microplastics?" We are so excited to have Shane de Solla (Ecotoxicologist, Environment & Climate Change Canada) and Ellie Weir (MSc candidate, McMaster University) share their work with the Hamilton community, and are looking forward to facilitating an engaging discussion about water pollution. Shane will be sharing his research on Double-crested cormorants, and Ellie... will be speaking about her turtle conservation work and her research on microplastics downstream of wastewater treatment plants. There will be free food and refreshments. We hope to see you all there!!

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation is hosting a guest speaker event next Wednesday, November 13th at 7:30PM at Westdale Theatre. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about conservation and environmental issues. The speaker, Adam Shoalts, is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and will be sharing stories and images from his expeditions.
