Yoga & Kayaking Online Course with Benny Marr We were hoping to have Ben run a yoga paddling course this summer, but instead join him for his COVID-friendly alternative! This session is all about late-season instruction, yoga, and whitewater discussion. It starts tomorrow (October 22-26, 2020)! "I am a fan of off-water learning, removing the distraction of whitewater to hone in on building skills, mental toughness, mental clarity, and patching/strengthening our foundations... to have an overall safer approach to stepping up your game when faced with a new challenge. In the course, we will cover skills worth covering no matter what whitewater you are running and work on breathing exercises, core exercises meant to bring confidence to decision making on the river. We love how this mural pops with the fall colours! So many souls leave love letters to the river here at MKC. We love seeing our alumni take what they have learned by the river and "flow forward" with innovative career paths. This mural was created by our 2015-2018 Office Manager, Beth, who now teaches online art workshops with a unique educational and sustainability focus.
