Congratulations to trainer Casie Coleman and all of the connections of Examiner Hanover, who won his division of the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold event for two year old colts last Friday at Woodbine Mohawk Park in 1:52.3! Also congratulations to the connections of stable mate, McWicked, who won the Roll With Joe Open Pace at Tioga Downs this past Sunday in 1:48.3!

I would also like to congratulate trainer Casie Coleman Herlihy on a great week of racing! Allywag Hanover took a new lifetime mark and looked impressive doing it. The two year old colt was timed in 1:52.1 with a 26.2 last quarter Monday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park, winning his division of the 1st Leg Of The Dream Maker. This win will guarantee the colt a spot in the final a week Monday, and we wish all the connections the best of luck. Sam McKee Hanover had his first lifetime win Tuesday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The two year old colt was timed in 1:54. Congratulations to this colts connections.

Congratulations to trainer Blake Macintosh after securing a spot in this years Battle Of Waterloo final and two spots in the Battle Of The Belles final! This past Monday night started off with Beach Blanket Book winning his elimination of the Battle of Waterloo in 1:56.4 at Grand River Raceway. This two year old colt will start from post position 4 in Monday’s final. Queso Relleno was next to win her Battle Of The Belles elimination in 1:55.4. This was the two year old filly...’s first career win, putting her into the final starting from post position 3. Bettorbeasecret finished third in her Battle Of The Belles elim and moving to the final will start from post 7. This post is long overdue, but I would like to congratulate trainer Kyle Reibeling on a few wins over this past month. Sunshineinmypocket won three races in a row after her massage sessions started last month. Her first win came at Flamboro Downs on January 19th followed by two wins in London her starts following that! Don’t Dilly Dali broke his maiden on February 7th at Woodbine Mohawk Park in 1:57!... Beach Baby Bee also had his maiden win last night at Woodbine Mohawk Park in 1:55.2! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on these horses, excited to see your continued success!

Last night the ever so prestigious O’Brien Awards took place naming the 2018 Canadian harness racing champions. I would like to congratulate all finalists and winners, especially each of the following horses for their outstanding performances last season that earned them top honours and forever having the title of an Obrien Award winner! Also a huge congratulations to her stable mate, Parisian Blue Chip! Parisian paced 1:49.3, her fastest mile to date and finished second in the $253 000 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes Championship at Pocono Downs Sunday night! Last Saturday night at Hanover Raceway, Sports Hero won his division of the OSS Grassroots for two year old pacing colts in 1:56 and DA Delightful was 4th in his division. Revival Cards picked up a 5th in her division of the $83 115 Eternal Camnation at Woodbine Mohawk Park last Saturday night. ... Clearly Better won her division of the OSS Grassroots for two year old pacing fillies at Clinton Raceway this afternoon and Loves Delight was second in her Grassroots Division. Sports Column rounded out the weekend winning the Preferred 2 at Flamboro Downs tonight in 1:53!

Casie added a Canadian Pacing Derby win to her long resume with the super impressive McWicked, in 1:49, at Woodbine Mohawk Park! Going for a purse of $600 000, this put Wicked’s career earnings over the $3 Million mark! Congratulations to Casie and all of the connections of McWicked, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on such an outstanding horse. Alexis Faith also gave team Coleman-Herlihy a big win at Yonkers Raceway in NY. The three year old pacing filly won the $112 904 Lady Maud Final in 1:53.4! Congratulations to all of her connections!

I would like to recognize and congratulate the efforts of Sorceress Seelster last night at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the $136 000 Casual Breeze for trainer Jack & Scott Wray, and all of her connections! Sorceress was 3rd to two of the best trotting fillies in recent racing history, Manchego (Hambletonian Oaks winner) and Atlanta (Hambletonian winner)!! The three year old Holiday Road filly is sure holding her own to show off the talent of Ontario Breds trotting her fastest mile... to date in 1:54.0. Also sending out a congratulations to trainer Mark Steacy and the connections of Hello Love finishing second and pacing her fastest mile to date in 1:51.4 and a 26.4 last quarter at Woodbine Mohawk Park last night. The Steacy barn also had a win and a new lifetime mark with Miss Jubilee Hill in a Pennsylvania Sires Stakes for three year old trotting fillies in 1:55.1 at the Meadows this past Tuesday. Stablemate Parisian Blue Chip was second in her PA Sires Stake division for three year old pacing fillies in 1:51.0 at the Meadows Friday night.
