C CURL Let’s talk being a lash tech, shall we? The most common question I get about this is do you make a lot of money? Hmm. Tough one. Is it easy? ofcourse not! Or else everybody would be doing it. You see. Part of being a lash tech is being a full time business owner. Some of you may laugh when I say this. There is so much more to it than doing lashes! If your client management is poor. You will not succeed in this field. If your money management is poor, you will... not make much. Common mistakes I (still) make to this day is investing money into the wrong things. If you have a weekly budget of 300$ for lash supplies. (You should definitely have a budget) and you decide to spend 100$ on new products to test them out but you end up not liking them, you’ll have exceeded your weekly budget. It is so important to create business plans and know exactly what your money is going into. We do not have a job that lasts 9-5 and we go home and relax. We are ALWAYS working. Wether it’s doing research, texting clients, editing posts, driving around for lash supplies, etc. It really is a 24/7 job. I think of my business in my sleep. Do I wish I had a 9-5 job? Sometimes. But that would be me taking the easy way out. I love the stress, I love the rollercoaster salary, I love it all. because when I feel like I am on top, no 9-5 job could ever make me feel this rush.
