Whipped Calendula Lemongrass Facial Cleanser. This cleanser is rich, whipped, silky, and downright delightful. It’s very thick resembling a cold cream but has an added gentle surfactant for effective cleansing. Do you dislike the dry tight feeling after cleansing with harsh cleansers? If so, this is definitely for you! Cleanses & moisturizers the skin both gently and effectively, and I love it! I dab a small amount on forehead, nose cheeks and chin. Wet fingertips, then gently massage. Wipe clean with warm facecloth.

Finishing touches

Guess who’s back! After much too long (and a few pleas for appeal, but that’s a story for another day) I’m finally able to access my page again ! I’ve been working hard behind the scenes formulating your favourites and a few new creations that I hope will become your favourites. It’s been a struggle with shortages and loooooong shipping times but I’m so happy to be back doing what I love to do! ... The lab smelled amazing tonight as I whipped up a new vanilla cream coffee body scrub. Not crazy about the smell of coffee? No worries! This will be available in lemongrass/calendula, lavender, peppermint, rose, & coconut paradise. All natural and organic ingredients Organic coffee, sugar, dried rose buds, lavender buds & dried calendula. This body scrub will foam when applied to wet skin. The Gardeners Dream Cream release has been delayed as I’m still waiting for a few key ingredients. I really wanted it to be ready before Mother’s Day and although I haven’t completely ruled that out, my window of opportunity is shrinking. I have also been extremely busy trying to get my own garden ready and expanded for the upcoming season. And my hands are in desperate need!! I have narrowed the name down to 5 choices 1. Cleansing is one of the most important parts of your skincare ritual. After a long day at work, if you wear make-up, after the gym or even after travelling, cleansing the skin is essential as it removes all the dirt and grime accumulated during the day. Quite often, not properly cleansed skin can be the cause of breakouts or blackheads so all the more reason to use a gentle cleanser daily. Cleansing also paves the path to toning and moisturising your skin so then it is ready ...for nourishment. I have created a cleansing oil to do just that. Polyglyceryl 4 Oleate is the key ingredient. This will help emulsify the oils when in contact with water, in other words as you wash the cleansing oil off, the water will loosen the oils and the grime with it. The oil will turn into a milky consistency. This plant-based, mild emulsifier is an excellent alternative to the more questionable standard alternatives like polyethylene glycol (PEG) and triethanolamine (TEA). Not only that, it’s developed by a team of scientists over the course of years, and are some of the strictest available. If they give it a thumbs-up, I do, too. Another key ingredient is Camellia oil. It is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Camellia oleifera plant and it is packed with antioxidants and some vitamins. It is a fantastic oil to have in cleansing products and leaves the skin soft without greasiness. I’ve also included an essential oil blend using clary sage, lavender and bergamot.
