Looks like I will be closing again for a minimum of 4 weeks starting April 3rd. I apologize for the crazy hours and never really knowing how long I will remain open but unfortunately it is not up to me. I would just like to remind everyone that I am not accepting walk-in appointments at this time as the HPPH is still advising against it. This being said, if you could please try to book at least one day in advance it would be very helpful. Starting tomorrow I will still work my regular hours however, if I do not have any scheduled appointments I may leave work a little early or come in a little late depending on how the schedule looks the night before. Today is the day! Masks are MANDATORY. Either bring your own or purchase one upon entering (unless you are exempt).... A few other reminders: - Back door entry is available. - No matter which door you come to you must knock and then wait for me to come get you to avoid overcrowding the salon. - You MUST sanitize your hands upon entering. - Do not show up more than 5 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. - Do not show up more than 5 minutes late for your scheduled appointment. - No walk ins. - Bathroom is available but please ask before using and only use in emergencies. Just a reminder that starting this Friday, July 17th Phase 3 will begin. This means masks will be MANDATORY to enter into any store/ business. That being said, I will have disposable masks available for purchase when you arrive or you can purchase a reusable mask next door from Seaforth Sewing Centre and/or Blooms n' Rooms or for more selection check out the online store www.myotherchild.ca. As I said, they are required by law so if you refuse to wear and/or purchase one to ...wear upon entering you will not be allowed onto the premises. Alright, starting tomorrow things will go as follows: - There will be absolutely NO WALK INS, scheduled appointments only. - I will be wearing a mask and I advise that everyone else do as well. It would be easiest if everyone brings their own mask but I will have some available to purchase.... - When you arrive for your appointment please wait outside until I come to get you. - Do NOT bring your friends, children or family members with you to your appointment as the waiting room is off limits during this time. - When you enter the salon please use the hand sanitizer provided at the front desk. - Due to Covid 19 protocol, the Hydration will be temporarily unavailable. - Do not touch any products on the shelf. If you would like a closer look at something please ask me and I will get it for you. - Remain at least 6 ft away from any other clients in the salon. - If you are feeling ill or have a cough PLEASE do not come in! Alright, I know everyone is waiting to hear so here is what I know. - I am still waiting to receive guidelines from the health unit so I will tentatively plan to open on Monday, June 15th (So long as I have received guidelines and am able to fulfill them). - For the first week I am open the hours will be Monday - Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm. (I will adjust them accordingly after the first week)... - EVERYTHING will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY. - Absolutely NO WALK INS at this time. Please. - I will be scheduling appointments over Facebook only at this time. So, if you would like to make one for next week please message me here. As for the rest I will post as soon as I can. Looks like I might be able to open this Friday. I will keep you all posted over the next few days what is going on for sure and what exactly that means change wise for the salon. When I do open it will be by appointment only as to minimize the amount of people in the salon at a time, hand sanitizer will be available when you walk in at the front desk, door knobs and counter top will be wiped down in between each client that comes in, sanitizing rooms in between each appointm...ent will continue as usual, the washroom will be cleaned in between every use, customers will not be allowed to touch products on the front shelves without permission so I know which bottles to sanitize and when, I am going to ask that customers not come more then 5 mins before and no more then 5 mins late to their scheduled appointment to avoid overlapping appointments and overcrowding the salon. Madica will remain CLOSED until the government gives the official order to return to work. As stated before all unlimited packages will be extended when I reopen. If any of you have any questions please feel free to message me here on Facebook and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will post here with any new information I obtain.... For now stay safe, stay healthy and please, stay home! Lets do our part to stop the spread!

Due to the COVID 19 outbreak and the latest government mandate, Madica will be temporarily CLOSED for the next 2 weeks (Starting Wednesday March 25th). All 3 Month Unlimited Tanning Packages will receive an extension when we reopen to make up for the time we are closed. I will post when I know more but as of right now, I hope to see you all in 2 weeks!... I hope everyone has a safe and healthy quarantine!

Just a reminder Madica will remain OPEN until further notice. Madica has always prided itself in being clean and sanitary and will continue to do its best to maintain those standards. There are no cancellation fees or penaltys if you would like to cancel your appointments, that is totally understandable. However, if you choose to just not show up for your appointments without giving any notice a minute deduction will occur.... Keep in mind if you have symptoms of COVID 19 or have been out of the country in the last 14 days please self quarantine and stay home. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this time.
