Every single human realizing that 2020 is almost over A big thank you to my joggers I wore every day and all the banana bread I ate for getting me through this year. May 2021 be ever in our favour.

The biggest smiles from these two at their backyard COVID wedding. It’s amazing how so many 2020 couples’ Plan B wedding ended up being their dream wedding. I have images from some of my favourite 2020 weddings that I have yet to share. They’re in the queue so stay tuned.

Hey, ya didn’t ask for it, but here are some cute things to do for a winter couples shoot: -Take a pottery class... -Go ice skating -Watch old movies in a sheet fort -Have a snow fight -Decorate the Christmas tree -Go snowshoeing -Bake Christmas cookies -Have a campfire -Take a dip in the ocean -Build a snowman You’re welcome! Which one would you do? I’d definitely do all these things in a day if I could.

Sunrise is always a good idea. Especially when you have lots of coffee and good company. Yesterday I saw fog in the forecast for this morning and knew I had to get out there for some moody couples portraits. All we needed was a 7AM start time, hot coffee, a flock of birds, and a good attitude to make some photo magic.

We become the eyes of those who couldn’t be there. To all the couples getting married in the middle of this pandemic, it’s our job as your wedding photographers to capture these moments for those who couldn’t be there. COVID sucks. We understand it’s a drag having to include us into your already low guest count. Thank you for having us. We promise we’ll make it worth it. I wish making coffee looked like this every morning. It’s usually a mmm, can you make me coffee, thanks, then I roll out of bed in my mismatched pj’s to measure the wrong amount of coffee but still make it any way and then Ryan is out the door and I’m left with a coffee ground mess.

mountain top ceremony just the four of us hit the peaks for the most intimate and epic elopement. it was the hottest day of the year but it was cool and breezy up top. this is a good elopement location if you want to get married in the summer but your man doesn’t want to be too sweaty in a suit.

Mountain proposals are just the coolest hehe These two have been together for TWELVE YEARS. They’re real good at paddling (Brian is going to the Olympics ) and love trail running with their wiener dogs (so dang cute!). Ryan and I were disguised as random hikers as Tessa and Brian strolled on by. On a rock in front of the mountains was a note saying Tessa, Open Me. Inside was the cutest little note and Brian got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. I had the giggles as I captured this precious moment. It was just too dang cute. We frolicked in the mountains for a bit as we took photos and then chatted in the valley like a coupla buds. Such a good way to spend a Monday morning.
