We went on a bit of a road trip recently to attend my midwife appointment which is a 6+ drive from where we are currently living. To nap or to sew - that is the question. I guess you can see that I chose to sew 16 weeks pregnant today and feeling like the tiredness from the first trimester is returning for a visit. My little guy is down for a nap, and I’m fighting the urge to curl up beside him, because I also have this strong urge to get a few things done. I may just sew for an hour and nap afterwards. One step forward, two steps back. While working on a new project, I hit a few road bumps trying to figure out how to line up my triangle points. (I’m used to working with triangles with flat tops that then form a point once sewn.) This is my first time using someone else‘s pattern, and although I hit a few snags, it’s coming together nicely and I can’t wait to show you the finished product!... Stay tuned - after the New Year I will be repairing a 100+ year old quilt!
