Info from a colleague of mine. #separation #divorce #divorcefinancial For 2020 returns, the climate action incentive refund remains: $444 for a single adult or the first adult in the household, $222 for the second adult in a couple (or for the first child in a single parent household),... $111 for each child in the household (starting with the second child in a single parent household). Residents of small and rural communities will receive a 10% supplement. Couples will have to decide which party will claim the incentive. Taxpayers will be credited this amount when filing their tax return. Separated Parents MUST make sure that they are not each claiming the incentive for the same child; only one claim can be made per child. Most tax software defaults to claim as many children as you have. Don't get in hot water!

You're going to come in contact with an awful lot of people who are at their absolute breaking point this month. Friends, family, neighbours, co-workers, teache...rs, strangers in the grocery store, retail workers. While it maybe the merriest time of year for some, it maybe the saddest, most stressful, loneliest, most heartbreaking for other's. We're all busy. But we're not too busy to be kind, caring and patient. Remember the best thing you can give someone this season is your love and kindness. - Amy Weatherly Season of love and kindness...Be kind
