Magestone Chronicles by Richard C. Innes 02.02.2021

Okay folks, finally got back to it! have managed to re-read the first part of Book 3 and continue adding more words to the story. Up to page 54 now. Sorry it took so long to get back at it, but will now keep you up to date more regularly.

Happy Easter to all my followers and fans out there. I am told this is a time of hope and new beginnings. I'm glad because I have got to get restarted on Book 3, and I hope I can do that soon. Thanks you all for hanging in there. If any of you have words of encouragement, now would be the time for them. Or for (hopefully positive) reviews of Books 1 and 2 on your favorite book sales site... (it would be fantastic if you could send me the link if you add one) The Book 3 cover is finished, and I am still stuck in and around chapter 7 "writing" it... Richard C. Innes

Okay, so how does the saying go? "All good intentions blah blah blah blah..." My intent was to get Book 3 done this spring, but to be honest to all of you out there, life has gotten in the way. Children have sports to get gotten to, activities and chores burn though even more hours. By the end of the day I am generally to tired to think, let alone get to writing. Can anyone else relate? That being said, I have managed to jump back in and get started where I had left off. ... I am now over 28,000 words in, working on Chapter 7 and still hope to have the rough draft finished for my proof readers by June? <-- Yes, that's a question mark. I want to apologize to my fan (I'm not sure there are more than one, but if there are that's fantastic! <-- see what I did there?) about my lack of progress and ensure them that I am committed to finishing this series as it plays out in my head. Thank you for sticking with me. Sincerely, Richard C. Innes

Back at the writing. Using some time at home with my sick children to get some momentum. So, almost finished Chapter 6, at 26,000+ words.

Okay, moving again. Book 3 is into Chapter 5 with 22,785 words onto 'paper'. So, changing topics, I am just wondering if any of you have read Book 1 and/or Book 2? Did you like them? If so, have you left a review on Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, or wherever you picked it up? Reviews help us no-name (yet) authors get discovered, and on Amazon at least, there are threshold numbers of reviews that move up your exposure.... So if you could take 2 minutes, do something free and help out an author you have already supported by taking your precious time to read my book(s), it would be appreciated more than you can imagine. Sincerely, Richard C. Innes

So with the temperature this morning a shocking -5 degrees Celcius, I have decided that fall has officially arrived, with winter right around the corner. Having taken the summer off to work on another project and be with family, I am revving up my work on Book 3 of the Magestone Chronicles. I hope to have the first draft to my proofreaders by the end of March, 2017. Hopefully I will be able to release it before the end of May for your summer reading pleasure. Thank you for ...your patience and I look forward to reading your reviews on Amazon, Kobo and Smashwords regarding Book 1 & 2. Cheers! Richard C. Innes
