#swipeleft (SWIPE FOR FULL IMAGE) Yesterday we shared an image of this same bride, next to the same window, same room, same everything that my wife captured in the moments where the bride was getting ready. ... Today we wanted to show another perspective of that image shot entirely differently. For that, I wanted to capture something that could show the bride on this most beautiful sunny daywe got blessed with. This was an outdoor cozy-chalet-intimate wedding, so you can only imagine how excitedwe were to be part of this special day with the couple as we love intimate weddings! After a few ideas (all in the span of 2 mins), I decided to go for this image showing the beautiful day we had along the excitement of our bride. These types of shots don't always work but when they do it's just too awesomein a wedding gallery. By the way... Can anyone spot where it says "chalet" ? . . . #weddings #bridetobe #weddingphotography #haveyourstorytold #magicshotphotography #weddingphotogaphers #mua @revestudio See more

Our beautiful bride Daniela while getting her bridal shots on a sunny day next to her cottage window. Typically, I alwaysphotograph the bride at every wedding but this time it was a little different. My wife Rashmi, who is one of our second shooters in the team, captured these two images that made it to ourclient's wedding gallery. Although we share the same ideas, we don't always shoot the same way.... I am more methodical, I will check and triple check my compositions, lighting and so on before firing that shutter button where as my wife is in the moment... she worries less about all the technical things. What I mean by that is that she will pay closer attention tohow the bride is feeling, the vibe and document without interfering a moment or staging it. She worries less about the geeky stuff and focuses on capturing through her artistic vision (for anyone who knows her, she is the same when it comes to her newborn and maternity work). The both of us being somewhat different iswhat makes our team's vision unique. Coming back to this image, it's crazy how even the simplest moment can be beautiful such as in this picture. We often reminds ourselves that what we do for a living (me with weddings and her shooting newborns/maternity moms) is a blessing. From time to time, we wonder who will look at these images in years, decades and even generations from today... . . . Tomorrow we will be sharing another image from the same location shot entirelydifferently, stay tuned! . . . #weddingstoryteller #bride #gettingready #weddings #magicshotphotography #booking2021 #2022 See more

I was debating for the past few days what to post and how to start 2021 with something exciting onthe feed. While doing that, I realized how crazy how we spend hours debating, scrolling, pinning, and more debating about what to post (along some procrastination as well in there somewhere). Truth to be told, there is SO MUCH CONTENT that we have to share with you guys! ... There are a few amazing weddings that we documented in the short span of summer 2020 and while we are in the post production stage our couple's wedding gallery, we will definitelykeep up with our posts! While thinking which images we should share from our last year's weddings, we came acrosssome engagement sessions photos from the 2020 couples that we haven't even shared! This image was shot just a little bit before winter near the end of fall so it was a little chilly, and to not my biggest surprise, cloudy! As usual, mother nature is not always in our favor but we always promise to make even the cloudiest days look amazing in pictures! Funny story is that after this session we already discussed to fly to Alberta for their next photoshoot but since Covid we had to cancel our trip. Luckly, they still had an amazing wedding that we can't wait to share with you guys. Oh and, how amazing is this couple?! One of our favorites from their engagement galleries! #magicshotphotography #engagementshoot #mtlweddings #couplesgoals #haveyourstorytold #bookingfor2021

Happy New Year to you! . . . We must say that 2020 hasn't been like what we thought it would be but damn has broughtus a bittersweet.... We learned (as a family and individuals) what to hold on to and what to let go. We found beauty in the smallest things imaginable and laughed until our chest hurt. This year has honestly taught us more than ever about friends, families, clients relationships and most importantly the incredible health care takers and essential works that we call super heros. . . . Speaking of 2020, Instagram posting has been kept to the very minimum for several reasons. One of the many being able to spend less time consuming social media and focusing more oncreating and enjoying the things we love the most without the pressure added from the world. Thanks to those who sent us gifts and sending us lots of DM's about how much you like our pictures and the nonsense stories we sometimes have! For that, thank you for allowing us to share occasionallyand also allowing us to hold back and spend more time with our little family and enjoy the things we would normallynot be able to do! . . . 2021, we look forward to a better, happier and healthier year for everyone! PS: Rashmi, you are the best. Thank you for all your hardwork this year while being a mother and incredible wife :) Photo by her @bebe_et_moi_photo See more

It's going to be 2021 in a month! This year has been very...how do you say it?...Special... We have never gone so long without working as a photographers but what a crazy year... We had a full agenda filled with incredible bookings this year from early March until November but nothing went asplanned for 2020 unfortunately. ... We had a few weddings here and there but we miss those weddings where we can breath like normal human beings and not being suffocatedin a mask for hours (for those who work with masks all day, I know the feeling!). We are reaching the end of our calendars for bookings this year and it's safe to say that we hadbetter years. We know it's not just us but everyone in the arts, entertainment, restaurants and more have been knocked or even shut down. We miss the fun, we miss shooting like we used to and we can't wait to get back to normal once this is all over the way it used to be with weddings full of people and loud music. We hope 2021 is going to be a little better than 2020 for all you out there! (fingers crossed). See more

As it's December and we are coming closer to the end of the year, we can now say that we are done shooting our last wedding of the year! This was the third and final ceremony for Kajal & Aiman and words cannot describe how down to Earth these guys were! The most beautifulthing about their 3 day wedding event was that not only was it super intimate, but seeing their closest friends and family being there meant so much for these two.... While having a chat with the groom, he said how a few of his friends couldn't be invited due to the restrictions. To his biggest surprise, so many offered any help they needed and wanted to be part of their special occasion! Now that's good friendship my friends! Kajal & Aiman, thank you both for having us us document all your events! We cannot express how valuable the trust our clients place in us! Lastly, we have been booking a few weddings just within the last few weeks so for anyone who wants to inquire with us, we still have a few spots available for 2021! . . . #magicshotphotography #weddingstoryteller #intimate #bride #portrait #lovestory #bookingfor2021 See more

Over the years that I have been a photographer, capturing the beauty of a scenery in the most random location can be super creative and unique. Many people say that certain things are meant to be seen with their eyes and that I can't agree more. Think of the Sistine Chapel for example. ... I have been inside and I can promise you that no photo will ever show you the true beauty of the paintings and architecture. In photography we have the same mindset as a lot of us believe that what you see is what you get. Therefore we are often running after beautiful and far away lands and locations because what the eye sees is what most believe is the only true beauty. The reality is that as an artist, we see the world a little differently. I find myself often looking at how light and shapes can create interesting images in a location that is empty. The camera can see things that we can't normally see with our eyes and over the years (and still is) have been training to see the world in a different eye. Photography not only taught me to see the world differently but also helped me with many other things. Looking at a good painting, architecture, design cloth or just an antique piece of furniture or jewelry is among some of the few things. I realized now that photography is not just great, it is who I am and what I do. This image above was shot in the middle of Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. Images like this remind me the most of how grateful I am to see the world a little differently! . . . #magicshotphotography #eshoot #engagementshoot #lovestory #weddingphotographer #weddingstoryteller #haveyourstorytold See more

One of the things we love the most about our couples is that each one of them have such unique personalities and stories which makes our job as wedding photographers so interesting! But we get asked often how we do what we do as so many different types of personalities could be challenging, right ? What if they all looked great in the same type of poses? Or even better if their sense of humor all clicked perfectly with ours? ... The reality is that we connect with each of our couples on their level that makes THEM comfortable and allows them to relax with us. We constantly get new clients booking us that are super excited about their photoshoots but that shortly follows by a "We don't know how to pose!" or "We are so awkward in front of the camera!" We can guarantee that 99.99% of the time, everyone looks awkward in front of the camera! With our help and guidance, we create gorgeous photographs of them no matter what. Of course, keep in mind that we are no counselors! We are photographers that love to evoke emotions that are true to every couple. What we guarantee is that they are going to do a lot of hugging, touching and maybe a few kisses for the few hours that they will be with us. Here are a few images from an engagement session that we photographed a couple of months ago when the weather was still warm. This amazing couple had no prior experience in posing or even having a professional photoshoot. Whether it's a cute and cuddly, stylish or super relaxed/downright emotional shot, we know the simplest way to introduce all of your unique emotions into your photoshoot. Finally, if you are a client who is looking to do an engagement or casual photoshoot but fear being in front of the camera, we can assure you that you will be in good hands! . . . #magicshotphotography #engagementshoot #weddingphotographer #storyteller #haveyourstorytold See more

A few weeks ago, I had the honor to be part of a special moment between two incredible humanbeings that I got to meet and instantly fell in love! Kajal & Aiman are two beautifulsouls that I got to observe and photograph on of their important days of their lives along with a few of their closest family and friends. As a photographer I often strive to create images that communicatewhat words cannot and yet I am currently trying to find words to communicate how much fun... I had being around this incredible couple during their intimate civil engagement. It was also nice to shoot around the Old-Port of Montreal as I didn't get to shoot near downtown for the longest timeever andthe heart of Montreal meanta lot to me as it always brings me incredible memories. Here are a few images from their gallery! #storyteller #weddings #love #haveyourstorytold #magicshotphotography

Been a while everyone! What did we miss?! It's almost the end of fall and everybody loves this season (or almost) for many different reasons. We can probably name a few such as the cozy sweaters and the pumpkin spice hot drinks but what we love the most is those colors that really pop out of nature. If you are a die-hard ... autumn lover like us (bonus if you enjoy it more in the rain), you have probably stepped out of your covid/pandemic bumble at least once to go out and take some pictures for fun! Although this year has been a rough year, it's always nice to enjoy the smell of the crisp air in autumn and the changing colors of the leaves. Here is a quick teaser from a recent photoshoot that we had fun doing for this gorgeous couple! . . . #engagementshoot #fall #love #couple #photoshoot #haveyourstorytold #magicshotphotography See more

For the past few years, we pretty much photographed couples all around the calendar regardless of what the season was. Some of our clients like being photographedin the hot summer days, others in winter and fall. But let's be honest, does it get any better than shooting a couple sessions in autumn with the warm morning sunlight and bright fall colors? We don't think so! As much as we love this beautiful season, we often tell our clients that fall is a tricky season as it... rains a lot. This image was shot last year around this time and just as we mentioned, it did rain! Thanks to these guys who didn't mind the rain, we were still able to shoot. For this shot, I climbed a tree with the help of my friend Niro (it was a white tree by the way, kinda cool!). Having wet tree branches wasn't the safest thing to be climbing on but sometimes a little risk of falling and embarrassingmyself is worth it! As Covid restrictions are still in place, we are currently very limited to shoot outdoors and we are already going to start missing this beautiful season! We would like to remind everyone to be safe, wash your hands and cross your fingers that we don't have another strictlockdown as last year!

Swipe to see a slightly different wide shot! As a wedding photographer, I know that every wedding is different and every coupletruly is special. Being there in the moment with them during their once in a lifetime day is an unforgettable experience. This was one the last weddings back in the end of August during our Covid rush of weddings we had in Toronto (we had two the same week-end, one back in Montreal) and we knew we had a long weekend with all the travel back and fo...rth. We loved every part and second of this journey but there is always that one thing that has been bothering me lately: the mask! Let's say that working with masks are not always easy (I hate it). My wife who was the second shooter that day was a huge help and I couldn't have a better helper and assistant that day but we have to do what we have to do! This shot was done the mandap/stage that the couple got married with the use of reflection and proper lighting. I can't emphasize enoughon how time is precious and having a photographer who knows is stuff is crucial. During the few weddings that we shot during the pandemic, halls were super strict on what time the client would have to leave the hall as no reception was permitted. If you have ever been to a south Asian wedding/ Indian wedding you will know that (well-how-do-you-say-it-nicely) time is not always given importance as much as we all believe. Although my couple planned this wedding super well we still ran out of time like every wedding as part of the celebration/prayers and being efficient was definitely a must. Having less than 10 mins before the hall kicks you out, we created this beautiful images for the couple. Today is exactly a month that these two got married and we are reliving some of their favorite memories though these pictures. Congratulations to Vithusha and Gnanagan, you guys are wonderful! #mua @simplebeautybyrajany #video @dreammirrorproductions #photo@magicshot_photography See more
