Magic of Children in the Arts 30.01.2022

Are You Crafty? Or an Artist? Magic Could Use Your Help As you may know, we have been delivering our Saturday workshops at NO COST using volunteer artists and 'crafters'. Our November series was great and now we are lining up workshop facilitators for January through to April. If you are crafty or an artist of any type, we would like to know if YOU would be interested in running a workshop for us? ... Here is what you need to know: - this is a volunteer position - we would be thrilled if you were able to do two workshops over one Saturday - just once. - we provide any and all materials you require. - we provide an adult assistant who knows art and loves to work with kids. - we do the set-up and close down - we have a few Saturdays called for but otherwise we are wide open. Please email us if you would consider joining us in 2022 as a Magic workshop facilitator. [email protected] Re: Covid Restrictions. At this time, we do not know if we will be allowed to continue to run our workshops in-person. Please respond as if we are running in-person. If things chnage... as they say, we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

So lovely!! Thank you Hank for sharing your lovely rainbow and beautiful message with our Magic of Children in the Arts and Rainbow Project community! "Hank is 3.5 y/o. We have been talking a lot about the rainbow flag. It started with our neighbour's flag which turned into a discussion about ‘why we didn’t have one?’ We decided to fix that and away we went to make one for our window(unbeknownst to us there was a Rainbow Project challenge in Collingwood!) The discussions around this topic have been so wonderful and I can’t thank you enough. To Hank, he understands that love is love and that you can love who ever you want to love. At almost 4 years old, what more could I ask for?!" #cwpride21 #magicofchildreninthearts #rainbowart #rainbowartwork #kidsart #experiencesimcoecounty #experiencecollingwood #collingwoodontario

We are thrilled that The Rainbow Project entries keep coming in! Tia in JK: Rainbows make Tia feel joyful. Rainbows make Tia feel calm. Tia loves rainbows because they have all of my favourite colours. Gabi, Gr. 2: Rainbows make me feel pretty & amazing because all the colours look so amazing. They also make me feel like I should have a nap. And also when I see a rainbow, I just feel like there is something on the other side of it.
