This one goes out to the ones with the heaviest hearts... I read an old note in my journal this morning that read : In order to hope, you need to have imagined something. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. ... That’s a nice thought, isn’t it? I carried on my day and didn’t think much of it.. until today’s lockdown updates. I reread it. I cried. I sat. I cried more. I let myself feel all the feels. I think everyone has that feeling of one foot forward, two steps back as we continue yet another stricter lockdown in Ontario. Yet, I’m reminded to have hope. I’m reminded to hold to what I envision; to cling closely what I hope for. We all hope for a return to some kind of normalcy, but deeper than that, we all have a hope for something specific. Your ‘imagined something’ might look drastically different to mine, but that’s okay, keep it close and picture it, right now. So to my heavy-hearted friends; the discouraged bride, the isolated single friend, the exhausted parent, the drained nurse or emergency worker, give yourself grace to feel all the feels. But don’t neglect hope. Write out that dream, that thing you long for, that thing that your heart is hoping for this year. Magna, what if what I hope for never comes? That’s where faith comes in. I think we all could use a little faith in our lives to keep searching for the GOOD in the midst of disappointment; to keep us anchored the storm continues to rage on; to help find our joy in the pains of our doubts. Keep holding onto hope.

I booked FIVE I love seeing goals getting accomplished and surpassed, but without a target I likely wouldn’t have booked any. If I have a target goal, I have something to keep aiming at. ...
