The situation related to COVID-19 is changing daily, and in coordination with the Nepean Sailing Club, we have now decided that in support of the Health Canada request to help flatten the curve, we are cancelling Trivia Thursdays for the next three weeks. We expect to return to regular scheduling after April 5, though we will of course continue to monitor the situation, and change our plans in response to changing conditions. Current plan: ... March 19 - cancelled March 26 - cancelled April 2 - cancelled April 9 - return to regular schedule Please check back here regularly to keep up to date with our schedule. In the meantime, please wash your hands often, try to avoid touching your face, and practice social distancing as much as is reasonable. Do your part.

Trivia is still on. We are monitoring guidance from Health Canada regarding the COVID-19 issue, and there is no clear reason that we should be canceling our trivia events at this time. Typical group size is below one hundred participants, the activities are in a low-risk category, and the participants are not in any identifiable high-risk group. However, we are continuing to monitor the guidance regularly, and will take steps if the situation changes. We encourage our pat...rons to act responsibly. If you are symptomatic, or have been in in a high-risk environment recently, please STAY HOME. Otherwise, c'mon out. At Nepean Sailing Club, all chairs and tables are being sanitized every day. For your part, please wash your hands, try to avoid touching your face, and maintain "social distancing" where possible. We are trying to maintain a level of normality, while taking reasonable steps to mitigate any risks to our patrons.

Last night SpencerCity Bar & Grill hosted a rambunctious game of trivia. The streamlined team of The Village Idiots took first place with an exceptional score, followed closely behind by The Don Hugo’s and Where’s Wyatt? We welcomed several new players to the game last night and sadly missed a few regulars too! Homework for next month, listen to some Howard Jones!
