Want a break from shovelling snow? We can relate to that, come visit us at the museum Thursdays from 1-5pm. See you soon!
Merry Christmas from all of us here at the Magrath Museum!
Remembrance Day (sometimes known informally as Poppy Day) is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth of Nations member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. Come appreciate all those who've served our great country by visiting our Military display located in the Museums main building.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at the Magrath Museum! We're thankful for the efforts of early settlers that helped make Magrath the beautiful Garden City it is today. To learn more, come visit us Thursdays from 1-5pm.
Happy Labor Day from us at the Magrath Museum! Traditionally, Labour Day was an occasion to campaign for and celebrate workers' rights during parades and picnics organized by trade unions. Stop by the Museum to learn about the historical trade industries of Magrath like the Golden Fleece Woollen Mill and the Magrath Canning Factory.
Has your family been in the Magrath parade? We are looking for pictures (one per family) of your family float that has been in the Magrath parade. Please bring your 4x6 or 5x7 picture to the Magrath Museum to have it displayed in our Parade Room or call the museum and we will pick it up. 403-758-6618. Thanks for your support.
