It's a beautiful day and we are serving as many people as we can, but at this time our team is only 11 staff. All day 6 days a week. That is food prep, dishes, bakery goods, line cooks, servers and cleaners, starting at 8 am until 7 pm. Not complaining just explaining why we need to close at 3 pm for an hour to re-stock, clean and most of all give our team a minute to eat or sit and rest. WOW! What an incredible Fall we are having. Not only in the wonderful Fall Colours, but the large numbers of people visiting from Atlantic Canada. The issue for us is keeping up with the substantial numbers of hungry visitors. We are not getting a resupply after a busy long weekend until Wednesday, that will make 8 days! After being as creative as possible with what we have for specials, we are now literally running on empty. Well, now that Tropical storm Teddy Bear has left the building, it is beautiful again in our neck of the woods. Glad to announce that we are open again for a full cooked Breakfast this morning from 8am until 11am. Then continuing with lunch as usual.
