On October 6th, we posted some pictures of a job we were busy working on in Vancouver. It involved tearing down an existing deck, stairs and arbor; and building a new deck with stairs extension, as well as new railing and cedar fences. Our team also completed many repairs which included drywall, cement tiles, waterproofing, insulation, interior concrete slabs in the shed, rotten wood, and removing and reinstalling new hardie boards around the shed. For this particular project in Coquitlam, the Master Solution team is removing, repairing, supplying and installing 150 linear feet of fascia boards on both sides of the house. We're painting the fascia boards white, using top quality Sherwin Williams A100 exterior acrylic latex paint. For this interior renovation project in North Vancouver we're supplying and installing 'Pergo' vinyl in the kitchen and ensuite, and laminate in the hallway and dining room. Pergo is a good and affordable option for durability and look, and vinyl floors are simple to clean, waterproof, and also help to reduce noise. Laminate will work well in the hallway and dining room. It's made from pressed wood making it more durable and resistant to scratches, moisture, and wear and tea...r. We'll be using flat stock baseboards and matching the transitions for both the vinyl and laminate flooring. The Master Solution team is also removing and disposing all the drywall below the window, and replacing the window sill and door sill. Work is progressing well for this basement renovation project we recently started in Vancouver. We're repairing and painting the walls around the stairs and repairing all the drywall for the electrical panel. We're installing a pocket door for better accessibility and new wall openings to the garage, and washroom for the laundry machines. Our crew will be removing and installing tiles for the shower, a shower niche, and removing and installing a new shower base. We'll also be... removing and installing a new vanity and 140 square feet of vinyl floor over an electric heating floor we've installed in the washroom and hall. We're placing a new 9' x 8' wall and completing the framing, drywall, mudding and painting; and repairing the ceiling. Our team is removing the security window bar and placing baseboards in the guest room, hall and washroom; as well as removing and installing new casings around the doors. Work is progressing well on this project in Coquitlam, BC! We're removing and installing a new 6' x 8' deck extension with 16' feet of wood handrails and pickets, using pressure treated wood to protect it from rot and insects. There's plenty of work to be completed for this North Vancouver project from a front porch renovation to replacing fascia boards, gutters, and downspouts. We're also building a beautiful cedar fence with a 4' x 6' custom gate and arbor. For the front porch renovation, we're tearing down and disposing the railings and existing steps, and removing and disposing the old footings. We're pouring 4" concrete slab under the new stairs and framing the new stairs and side walls. Our t...eam is completing all the exterior finishing of the wood steps and landing. For this project in Vancouver we're tearing down the existing deck, stairs and arbor. Our crew is repairing the shed roof using new plywood and 'torch on' for waterproofing, as well as adding new flashing and downspouts. We're also repairing the laundry room between the interior walls and exterior stairs which includes drywall, cement tiles, waterproofing, and insulation. We're building a new deck (20' x 14') and stairs extension, as well as new railing and cedar fences on ...the neighbor's side to match their fence. All posts are being built using pressure treated wood. We're repairing the concrete slabs in the shed and any rotten wood, and removing and reinstalling new hardie boards around. We're using new envelope waterproof Tyvec paper, rain screen for air ventilation, and bug screen. We're also doing a little work around the garden removing various plants and a tree.
