Just one more thing about my isolation. I do not work at the restaurant. I hang out there. I show up for errands and to eat lunch. Staying well away from my staff and customers. Prince George you are amazing. Keep up the action and we will overcome this virus. Some people have asked about my trip to Thailand. I was the only one who went to Thailand this year. My wife and staff stayed in PG. When the rumors of the virus first started circulating in Thailand they became proactive and expelled all Chinese tourists and blocked the Chinese from getting any visas. It wrecked their tourist industry but it had to be done. I flew home the first week in... March via Taiwan. AT the Taiwan airport I was screened, we had our temperature checked and were questioned. I had no issues, temp, etc. When I returned to Canada we were told to self isolate for one week. Even if you had no symptoms. When I finished my isolation/distancing for the week the govnt changed its policy and had us isolate for two weeks. Which I did. At the start of the isolation program our restaurant could still have a limited number of dine in customers. By the time I finished we had to close our seating and offer only delivery and take out service. To iterate, I have had no symptoms. I have been screened. We practice social separation, and isolation. I am a senior in the high risk group so I take extra caution. My Thai staff are extremely vigilant. I thank everyone for their curiosity and diligence. I can assure everyone that all the restaurants in PG that offer take out and delivery are safe. Enjoy our food, our business. Thanks to Northern Health, the govn't health workers and all the people of PG for their diligence and social responsibility. this will pass.

Yet another day in our social isolation drama. I can not think of any humor to help out. It is good that we are in PG. This town has always been great at helping out. We will take care of each other and this too will pass.

Good day from sunny PG, yet another day of social distancing. I always thought laughter was the best antidote for the down times. Please forward any humor or success stories you may have. Share the joy. This too will soon pass. Asian legend (superstition?) has it that coconut milk has great viral fighting properties. Phone up and order one of our many dishes with coco oil, even if does not help fight the virus you will feel better because good food is also a great antidote for the down times.

We are still open during this crisis. Like other restaurants in PG we have enhanced our deep cleaning and we are completely safe for dining in. We are also open for take out and will have a delivery service soon. Please safely enjoy our town we can still go out and socialize we just have to be vigilant. See you all out and about. Sunday was a great mother's day. Thank you mothers. We have a special this week of papaya salad wtih chicken wings and coconut rice for $16.00. Come on in.

Hello everyone. First let me apologize for not posting for such a long time. We had to move, we lost a cook, and I am not very cognizant with social media. For example I am having a difficult time posting a pic from my personal facebook to Mai Thai face book.Also let me thank all our customers for their continued support. we are getting another cook from Thailand so we can continue with our plans. We are going to modernize our menu and our service. Namely, have more finger foods, more snacks and more delivery. This mother's day weekend we are having papaya salad with chicken wings and sticky rice for Saturday lunch special and part of our menu Sunday nite. Once our cook arrives we will be changing things up. He is very good at cooking street foods.

It was considered the best photo of this century. A lioness and her cub were crossing the savannah but the heat was excessive and the puppy was in great difficu...lty walking. An elephant realized that his cub would die and carried him in his trunk to a pool of water walking beside his mother. And we call them wild animals. See more
