A great post from our friends at #aroundchilliwack we have cancelled our East Coast New Year’s celebration. But we are serving drinks till 8 and food service till after.

**UPDATE FOR THE PUB** We would firstly like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have passed along words of love and support, it really means the world to us! We are taking things as they come, yesterday we used the opportunity to deep clean each and every surface and the pub is shining like a new penny.... Our affected staff member is feeling much better and the staff that worked closely with them are getting tested and isolating as a precaution. We have been given the "go ahead" by WorkSafe to open, that being said however, we still have not heard from Fraser Health, we have been trying to get a directive from them as to whether it is safe to open our doors again. We feel at this time that it's best to remain closed until we get further instruction and the approval from BOTH WorkSafe and Fraser Health. We feel that this decision is the best for our community and our Majors Family. The health and safety of others is our foremost priority at this time. We look forward to seeing you all again and hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. CHEERS!

Here’s what we are doing. + Dinner special $14.99, homemade turkey dinner (light/dark turkey, mash potato, homemade stuffing, seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce and gravy) + East coast New Years celebration at 9 PM (since our hours of operation have been limited) + Champagne table toast and countdown with your table at 9 PM.... + No tickets or reservations necessary. + All covid rules will be strictly followed, let’s adapt and make this a fun night! We are unfortunately temporarily closing. - The health and safety of our staff and guests are the number one priority and in full transparency we had one staff member test positive for Covid. - Although we were told we didn’t have to temporarily shut down, we felt it was the right thing to do. As it gives us time to deep clean make sure other staff are feeling alright.... - Fraser health is conducting contact tracing and will get ahold of you if needed.
