On #WorldKindnessDay, we want to share Haoyu’s wish. Haoyu was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019, at the age of 17. He underwent treatment at the Montréal Children's Hospital. When Haoyu found out he was eligible for a wish, the first and only thing that came to mind was to give back to the hospital and its patients. As a tech enthusiast, Haoyu wished to give 5 tablet devices with accessories and 1 UVC sterilizer to the hospital. The tablets will allow the children to entertai...n themselves and feel connected to the outside world during their treatment, as well as help specialized educators to conduct simultaneous virtual activities with patients in different units of the hospital. His wish came true just this past October! When asked about why he wanted to wish it forward, Haoyu said Since I am in remission, I feel that I am not the one that should benefit from Make-A-Wish. The hospitalized patients are the ones who need support. Recalling from my experience, the greatest challenge was to stay positive and not to give up hope. See more

#WishGranted alert! Three-year old Kira has been battling a wilms tumour. She may be young, but she knows what she wants: adventure time with her family! For Kira, a travel trailer is the perfect wish come true! "Kira was SOOOO excited; it was the most magical thing to see," said her parents. "We parked it in our driveway for the night and had a camp out. She loves the top bunk and spent most of the day up there! Thank you from the very bottom our hearts. So many family adventures to come!"
