This made our day! With schools closing due to COVID-19, our projects, Making Mental Wellness at Mitford School and Making Space at Banded Peak School, have been cancelled. This really sucks, on multiple levels. Especially because we miss creating alongside the amazing young people on these teams. But, as we learned together, obstacles are just opportunities to create something new. So, we’ll continue finishing up the Mitford team’s Wellness Zine and share that on our website soon. AND, we’re working on a bunch of things behind the scenes to continue making good in the hood! Next month we launch a brand new project with Banded Peak School. Making Space will invite students to become designers and help design a new space in the school to enhance student emotional and mental well-being. Make Good is all about empowering young people to use their creativity to positively shape the world around them.
