I was so scared to open my studio, but it’s worth it to be a little scared. I first checked out Sola in October of 2019 I said to myself ok May 2020 I’ll make this my goal. Then covid happened. So I put my goal on hold. The salon I was at reopened in June of 2020 and repeatedly everyday day and night I kept thinking about that goal I put on hold. Thinking about opening a salon studio during covid gave me so much anxiety, but I had more anxiety thinking about what if I keep p...utting this on hold and I’m stuck in a spot that doesn’t make me truly happy. So I made a goal to open my studio in January 2021.. well the anxiety of being stuck in a place that didn’t make me happy pushed me to just pursue my dream quicker. It’s been a challenge and especially with being shut down and so many uncertainties in our world, but it’s that little bit of fear that keeps me going.
