DIY MAKEUP REMOVER PADS: Don't ask how I came across this for a natural, cheap AND effective method of removing makeup, because I'm not an extreme couponing mom. I've been doing it for a week as an eye makeup remover and I love it. I put mine in this glass jar I found at the dollar store. http://extremecouponingmom.ca/diy-makeup-remover-pads/... SUPPLIES: - small glass jar - 3 tbsp of coconut oil - 1/2 tbsp of a gentle wash (I used Cetaphil) - 2 cups distilled water - cotton pads Mine are Joe Fresh from Loblaws DIRECTIONS: 1. In a small glass bowl place your coconut oil and microwave in 15 second intervals until melted 2. Measure out 3 tbsp of coconut oil into a large glass bowl, then add in your 1/2 tbsp of gentle wash and your distilled water. Mix together with a fork. 4. Place a handful of your cotton pads into the mason jar and pour some of your solution on top. Push down on the cotton pads to help them soak in the liquid. Continue to place more pads and pour solution over top pushing down each time until you fill your jar with cotton pads. You will have some solution left over, your pads should all be wet and when you push down liquid comes up BUT when resting there is not a jar full of liquid. 5. Use to remove makeup or as a facial cleansing wipe.

SANDBAGGING: A great makeup technique I've used for many years to keep undereye concealer last all day and night, as well as keeping undereye eyeliner from running into raccoon territory. A must for special occasions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45CzuTRxDV0 "After slicking on your under-eye concealer, use a damp makeup sponge to pat a thick coat of translucent powder on top, getting as close to your waterline as possible. After a few minutes, dust away the excess with a fluffy brush, and you're good to go!"

I recently lightened my hair with a lot of blonde for the first time. No one has said anything, which means it doesn't look good :P I asked my stylist which brushes to use, and he told me about the Wet Brush and Tangle Teezer. The first is to brush your hair when wet, and the other is a regular brush for tangles. I ordered from Amazon and absolutely love them! There are many different brands available. I got the original Wet brush and Art Naturals for tangles since it was a cheaper two-pack. https://www.amazon.ca/My-Wet-Brush-Classic-Pi//ref=sr_1_1 https://www.amazon.ca/Naturals-Detangling-Ha//ref=sr_1_10
