We don't just do big jobs; sometimes a simple garden cleanup and fresh cedar mulch can make a big difference!

Most of the time we work in stone, but sometimes it's fun to make some sawdust and build a deck. We always try to meet our clients' needs, and we were happy to put our carpentry skills to work this summer. Cedar wood is a joy to work with, just the smell of the sawdust! Benches provide both seating and storage, a buffet table and privacy screen make it an intimate and enjoyable space, and once the awning sail goes up on the corner posts it'll be pleasantly shady too!

We had an opportunity to beautify the house of God! New planters for New Hope Church in Brockville, constructed from Brussels Dimensional stones with inset highlight bands in Series 3000 charcoal brick and topped with Ledgestone.

Even if you have a smaller space, a patio with a firepit can provide a great area for sitting and visiting with friends or a romantic spot for an evening with that special someone!

After another contractor removed their pool and backfilled the area with mostly sand, this homeowner was left with a backyard where nothing but weeds would grow, and grow they did! A new path and patio, deep layer of fresh topsoil, and new sod transformed this former weed patch into a beautiful space to enjoy.

For years the solution to fixing this front walkway had simply been to layer on another load of asphalt whenever it began to sink and crack. But a new homeowner wanted a more attractive and permanent solution, so they called on us!

Before and after pictures are fun! Especially when you have a smaller yard, a clean simple space is essential. Adding a contrasting patio stone and a riverwash stone border and rebuilding the retaining wall with proper foundation transformed this backyard into an inviting space.

This client had a large pile of unused natural stone salvaged from a neighbour's retaining wall project cluttering up their backyard, plus an area under the trees where no grass would grow. We solved both problems with a shade garden bordered by repurposed natural stone. A flagstone path meandering through completed the look.

Landscape stone can make a simple but elegant curbing around your garden. This is also effective for retaining soil and mulch and excluding grass or weeds from encroaching from the lawn. This specific setup even allows you to run the wheel of your mower atop the stone that is laid flush with the grass, reducing the need for weed-whacking!
