Last week I had two young girls come in. It turns out they are care givers at a home in Salmon Arm. One of them knew that Shirley Pelcher owned a Cafe in Malakwa and they had come to check it out. I sent a message to Shirley via the Caregiver's phone. She and her husband Frank built our cafe. They opened on Mother's Day in 1958. What caring young women these two are. It takes a special heart to be a caregiver. Bless them all.

we will not be able to provide a full service this evening as our kitchen vent is getting cleaned. This is something that we are required to do a couple of times a year. The company will be here at approximately 6:30 to do this work for us. So sorry for the inconvenience
