Mama Bear Taiwanese Cuisine

She married an Air Force Staff Sergeant with the surname Hsiung (it means "Bear" in Mandarin) and together with their 5 children, they lived in this military's dependent village in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Everyone knows that she makes scrumptious food and everyone in the village calls her "Mama Bear". She, is the mother of our executive chef at Mama Bear Taiwanese Cuisine. The idea of stopping/pausing the operation of Mama Bear Taiwanese Cuisine had never crossed our minds, until recently. Our executive chef recently had a minor injury which turned into something that will take a lot longer than anticipated to recover from. With the super busy and labour-intensive restaurant work while living with and being the primary care-giver of both the 90-year-old "Papa Bear" and "Mama Bear" who is recovering from a stroke, it is nearly impossible for our executive chef to get enough rest let alone a full recovery from her injury. It took a tremendous amount of hard work to get us where we are today and when we see a regular customer it feels exactly like seeing a friend! It's hard to describe in words our mixed feelings and it was definitely a difficult decision: We regret to inform our loyal customers that Mama Bear Taiwanese Cuisine needs to reconsider priorities and will take a break effective immediately. Mama Bear greatly appreciates all the help from our current/past staff and all the support from our loyal customers who have become more like friends to us! We hope that we'll have the opportunity to serve you again soon! Thank you!!

We are now hiring helpers, tasks include (but not limited to) respond to customer inquiries, take customer orders, food preparation/handling, maintain the cleanliness of the booth...etc. Must be able to work quickly, follow all food handling safety regulations, friendly and have excellent communication skills.
