Your feedback is greatly appreciated as Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin seeks external funding to support a program designed for Indigenous parents before, during and after pregnancy. Midwifery care brings birth home to Indigenous communities which has been identified as a pathway that improves health and supports the regeneration of strong families. This Indigenous Midwifery Program would be integrated into the Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Interprof...essional Primary Care Team. Please know we will keep your information confidential. All the data is stored in a password electronic format. To help protect your confidentiality, the surveys will not contain information that will personally identify you. What a beautiful day Today we / Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin partnered with Spirit of the Akohsa:tens to offer a Land Based Horse Supported wellness gathering. It was an honour to support these amazing helpers and healers in tending to their own wellness during such a stressful time. COVID-19 has put so much additional pressure on Health & Mental Health & Addictions professionals; getting creative about taking care of ourselves and coming together in good ways is so important. It’s 100% true. Ask any health care provider. The flu shot does not cause the flu. The virus contained in the vaccine is inactivated and not able to cause illness.
