There has been a garden party here for the last few days behind the store. Yes, indeed, the Eastern redbuds have been in full bloom, the lilacs are adding a heavenly fragrance as are the lily of valley along the walkway. All of this has created a wonderful focal point for neighbourhood bees and wasps. The trees are almost humming with bees. It is enough to make your heart sing (or maybe hum along)!

Zooming Tarot Shay is continuing to offer his amazing tarot insights although these days we are doing the readings through Zoom to help keep everyone safe. You still get to ask questions, see what the cards reveal, and benefit from Shay's decades of experience with tarot. And all of this in the safety of your own home. Happy May 24th weekend! Perhaps some gardening and a backyard barbecue will lighten us all up and usher in a summer of fun. We have had a strange spring, to say the least. Hanging near my desk is the 2020 Zen calendar from Willow Creek. The May image, that I have posted here, has perhaps foreshadowed the current lockdown. Buddha nature peeks out from the tangled roots to enjoy the small green leaves. Maybe the Buddha reminds us to look outward?
