Matty here! I thought I’d share a throwback Thursday! Behind the scenes at Toronto Fashion week

We are pleased to welcome a new member to our M & Co. Family. Matty Leblanc graduated from Jon Raymond Institute in 2008. Upon graduating they started competing internationally in color competitions earning themself 3 wins and at the age of 24 Matty started teaching across the US while specializing in color corrections, blonde specialization, advance cuts and business knowledge. Once retired teaching, Matty decided to take the leap and move to Toronto to expand they’re kno...wledge in TV, Magazines and fashion Runway. Matty Worked for Jie Mattar in Yorkville while also getting involved in the world of Fashion, print and television for 8 years. Now being back in they're home province, Matty is looking forward to share they're expertise and skills to M&Co. Hair Studio. Matty has a passion and specializes in Blondes first and for most, cuts and blowouts/style. So get ready for Christmas Matty will be full time with us as of December 1st.

*Melanie here* My guest today came in with already beautiful hair so it was pretty easy to make it even more gorgeous. After being blonde for a while and suffering from dry damage hair she decided it was time to go to the dark side she also wanted to get rid off all the damage ends which left her with shorter hair, after missing her long hair she decided to do something about it and can we just say, what a good idea that was!!! Hahaha I was able to give her her old long hai...r back and dare I say, even better!! I created that look with 5 bundles of fusion hair extensions in 2 shades for perfect dark dimensional brunette look. Melanie here. People choose to get hair extensions for various reasons, if you think about it, hair is very much part of who we are. The way we perceive ourselves in the mirror can have a huge impact on our confidence. My dear guest today has had a LOT of stress in the past few years and with that came lack of hair quality and hair lost, top that with trying to be blonde and the result is what we can call "fried" hair. [ Sylvie ] For 4.5 years, this has been my view. I have been lucky enough to be able to grow along side Melanie, Ghislain and Mylene and now consider them family forever. ... Mel, I dont even know where to begin....you have taught me SO MUCH. You are a boss babe, entrepreneur that I will always look up to and forever grateful that you have changed my life in more ways than one. You have taught me business skills that I will take with me moving forward and have shown me time and time again what determination and hard work looks like.
