Many people in the past would attend open houses before being quite ready to purchase a home to see what the market was doing, and you can no longer do that. . The browsing is all online now, and while we have excellent photographers and videographers, nothing is the same and walking through the house. . So what do you need to do as a buyer or potential buyer in 2020? . 1. Find a Realtor to represent you. . Having a realtor to represent you as a buyer just makes sense in my mind. We provide you with all of the information you need to know to purchase a home, we can show you any home that is listed on the market, have leads on houses not quite listed, but that are coming, we can find out the information you need to make a sound decision AND almost always, the seller pays us - it costs you $0 to be professionally represented. . . 2. Get Pre-Approved . I cannot speak for all Realtors, but for safety and to limit unqualified(not pre-approved) buyers going through my listings I will not show a home to a potential buyer without a Realtor unless they have a pre-approval letter.
