If your current eating plan has you reducing or removing an entire food group or macronutrient (fat, carbohydrate, or protein), or you are not able to see yourself eating that way for the next 6 months, 1, 5, or 10 years, do your mental health a favour and walk away. Restrictive eating is one sure way to feel bad about yourself when you aren't able to sustain it. Don't forget that 95% of diets in a $71 billion industry fail. It also makes food a moral issue, and perpetuates ...a toxic diet culture that leads us to mistreat and mistrust our body and feel guilty about our food choices. Making food a moral issue just leads to feeling bad about ourselves when we eat a food that society has labelled as "bad". Sure many foods are more nutrient dense than others and some foods make us feel physically better than others, but there are no good foods or bad foods. The best way to make lasting changes, is it ensure that it is sustainable and enjoyable. A healthful diet can include fat, carbs, chocolate, and wine.
I love the simplicity and ease of sheet pan meals.

Great tips to reduce single use items like plastics in the kitchen. Have you transitioned away from any of these? What's your favourite?... I love my beeswax wraps in place of plastics wrap.
