An excellent article by my friend Meshari on patients perspective regarding the use of digital health tools for chronic disease management.

I love the translation of science to business. I'm crazy fortunate to be able to combine my loves of science, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I love learning about how others view & practice the paths from idea or bench to product - what are your favourites? What are the biggest barriers you've seen? The ability to experiment in your business is a tool to adapting in challenging times. This 2011 article, starkly relevant in 2020, gives examples of how adaptive companies are tolerant of failure, and experiment not only on new products and services, but also business models, strategies, and routines. How have you adapted this year? What kinds of experiments are you running? https://hbr.org//adaptability-the-new-competitive-advantage

Wikipedia is the fifth most visited site in the world but only 17 percent of biographies are about women, according to the Wikimedia Foundation. And existing entries about women aren't of great quality either. Read about some individuals and groups working to change these statistics to better reflect the world around them.

This recent post from Holstee really spoke to me. Do you like the term follow your passion? Is yours one thing, or many things? ... So rather than trying to find and follow that one passion, we might try broadening our search. For those who like clear roadmaps, I’ve found these three steps to be helpful for me:... Identify your interests. Experiment with them to see which draw you in the most. Put in the work to dive deeper into those interests and perhaps even develop some level of mastery in them (researchers say that we need at least 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert at something). But this isn’t the only way to live with passion. It’s also about turning off our auto-pilot and living life fully and mindfully. It means taking time for the things that bring us into a state of flow, where we are so in the moment that time just disappears.

"I bet you need this solution too: I call it Untouchable Days. These are days when I am literally 100% unreachable in any wayby anyone." Do you have a day a week (or a month, or quarter) completely blocked out? Is it a scary thought? I know for many of us it can be anxiety-inducing to consider being unreachable one day a week. Read about Neil's solution and let me know what you think! ... https://hbr.org//why-you-need-an-untouchable-day-every-week

So excited about this and proud of my Banff Forum colleague Hamoon Ekhtiari for founding Audacious Futures (https://www.audaciousfutures.co/) - I can't wait to see where they go and hope to join them in powering a radically better future!

Two of my favourites combined last week and I couldn't be happier! Holstee is one of the only emails I've never canceled my subscription to. Mari Andrew is one of my favourite writer/illustrators. Together their "Kinship" work is so beautiful.

"Inspiration is a flame you need to fuel" While this great article is focused on design, it's applicable in any industry - "inspiration feeds positivity". How do you stay inspired?
