We are very excited to announce that we are, once again open for business. We will begin seeing ALL patients on Monday, June 1st. We have been working tirelessly to get the clinic ready. We have been sanitizing everything, installed a plexiglass shield for reception and replaced all cloth chairs and spaced them out. Patients will be required to have their temperatures taken, oxygen saturations measured and a few questions regarding health history answered. All patients ...and staff will be required to wear masks. If you dont have one, we will provide you with one. Only one patient (or family of patients) will be allowed in the clinic at a time. Consequently our hours have changed. Call the office for more information. This is all done to protect both staff and patients as their health and safety is our prime concern. Hi!! This has been a very trying time for all of us. At Mandzak Chiropractic Health Centre, the health of our patients and staff is of the utmost importance to us. As such, we are making the decision to treat only EMERGENCY musculoskeletal cases by appointment. This decision not only complies with, but exceeds current screening protocols laid out by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO). Furthermore, we are taking every precaution to adhere to Social Distancing gu...idelines where possible. The clinic space is constantly being sanitized between patients and all necessary precautions have been made. Patients will first be screened by phone and again upon entry into the clinic on issues of travel, health and details of their need for care. This is a fluid situation at this time and things are changing by the hour. We will continue to update via social media. In the mean time, please continue to practice social distancing and proper hygiene but also continue to move. Exercise and stretch at home, eat well and get plenty of rest. This too shall pass! Mandzak Chiropractic Health Centre is very pleased to introduce our two new Registered Massage Therapists. After an exhaustive search, these two ladies are now taking patients throughout the week at various hours. Nichola Baburam, RMT ... Nichola graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Trillium College with honours. After receiving a diploma in Marketing-Business Administration from Centennial College she worked in management for many years. After becoming a proud mom for the second time Nichola felt inspired to follow her passion to work in healthcare. This led her to pursue her dream career as a Registered Massage Therapist and fulfill her desire to help others both through treatment and remedial home care. Nichola is trained in Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point, joint mobilization and stretch and strengthening techniques. Nichola loves being a mom, spending time with family and friends, good music (Soca!), strong coffee (!!) and experiencing nature. Natalie Arpin, RMT Natalie Arpin is a Registered Massage Therapist practicing in Whitby, ON. She strongly feels that massage therapy offers many benefits to health and facilitates healing on many different levels, including decreasing muscle tension, reducing stress and anxiety, improving mobility, and decreasing pain, allowing clients to experience an elevation in their sense of general well-being. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients using a variety of massage therapy techniques, such as Swedish massage, fascial work and joint mobilizations to provide optimal care to all clients.
