"Don't let the negativity given to you by the world disempower you. Instead give to yourself that which empowers you." Les Brown It's easy for the negative to take over when the media is constantly showing us the bad. Do something that empowers you each day, you can take actions in your life to add positivity into your daily routine. Staying off social media first thing in the morning and allowing yourself time to get fresh air, stretch, drink a glass of water. ... We will all come out of this with more gratitude for things we can't access right now. We will come out of this will a stronger appreciation for healthcare workers, truck drivers, grocery stores, and essential workers everywhere. We will hug our loved ones just a little longer. This is temporary, don't let the negativity take over. Nature is still here. Kindness is still here. Positivity is still here.

Last January I traded the Honda CRF 450 For this little Honda Grom 125 I just started riding this bike on Tuesday , it Reminded me of when I first road a motorcycle When I was young. O what fun!!... I just want to encourage everyone to look on the bright side of life and work on what you enjoy! Today I spent the day in the garage taking apart another motor from a Quad this time. Lack of oil changes caused this motor to quit. Mantaince is a important part of a routine In keeping us running at an optimal performance. Meditation, staying active, And caring about others is that Mantaince For good mental physical and spiritual health . By the way the Honda Grom is for sale! See more

Since March 17 when Covid-19 showed it's face in Calgary and shutdown my plans with Outdoor adventures for the peer support and physical fitness of The Manic Mechanic had come to a screeching halt. It made me stop and think for a moment of what just happened in my world and in the world around me. Here is a motor case off a dirt bike. The motor Broke down and seized solid! Never to run again in this condition. After tearing down the motor and finding what went wrong, wasn...'t much of a surprise! The motor ran for so long With no Repairs, Prevention or Maintenance Of the internal system ,it wore out and broke. Just like this motor I had to teardown my life, find out what happened and what am I suppose to do now? It took me awhile of meditating and praying! I went through a process that I experienced before, Loss, denial, grief, anger and finally acceptance. So I made good use of self isolating and started working on my attitude! Something that I had to do to recover from Bipolar disorder. I started cleaning up the garage my house And develop a productive routine for my mental physical and spiritual health. Now that I have that motor apart, it's time To repair it. First we need to make a parts list And clean up the rest of the motor. Removing all the broken pieces, dirt and oil. Order the new parts and wait patiently for there arrival but educating yourself on how to resemble the motor with the New parts when they arrive. It's not easy to rebuild a motor or rebuild anything If you're not careful! So my message in this time of uncertainty Is. We are all broken in some way or another So let's go within and find out what's not working for us and remove the broken peices and clean our dirty souls asking God for parts we need to put ourselves back together. It won't be easy but we have God's love and support! And we will be running like New again! We can do this! The Manic Mechanic putting life back into gear! rebuild ourselves is not easy See more
