2020 Run for the Cure Goes Virtual! This year the CIBC Run for the Cure will look VERY different as it will now be a virtual experience due to social distancing restrictions. This gives you the unique opportunity to make the run whatever we want it to be. You can get your office together, a small group of friends and family, or even challenge yourself to run/walk/jog a 5k to raise money for breast cancer research. Be creative with location, gear, and be sure to incorporate de...ntal hygiene in some way or another. The top three sub-teams on MDHA Brush for the Cure will be selected by the Board and MDHA members then have the chance to vote for their favourite, this teams photo will be featured in the Montage. The team that receives the most votes will also receive a prize package of treats and products from local Manitoba companies (prize worth over $250!) to share amongst your team! This year because we can't engage in person, the event will unfortunately not be eligible for PAR. However, this should not stop us. Our team has always worked together to raise money for the important work Cancer Care does and I encourage everyone to continue to do so. Please join us! The first step is to download the CIBC Run for the Cure App. Here, you can sign up for team MDHA Brush for the Cure and track your progress. Or, simply visit this link to register online. Cancer Care is continuing to develop their exciting virtual experience which will still include an inspirational opening ceremony, a high-energy warm-up and a few other surprises. I hope to see you all there October 4th. Tag us on Instagram @mdha__ with the hashtag #mdhabrushforthecure2020 with your team all geared up on Run Day for a chance to win. Your Team Captain, - Jasmine Bonenfant
