This was Manitoba Blue Cross's first year sponsoring our annual Champagne Brunch fundraiser. Their commitment early on in the year to sponsoring the brunch was ...extremely beneficial in our planning process. Instead of pulling their sponsorship when we had to cancel the event, they generously matched $1 for $1 every donation made up to a total of $500! As we do not touch investments (JICs) for operations (we use investments for poverty reduction loan guarantees) all operations are funded through interest generated from investments, grants, fundraising activities and donations. We are excited to say, with their support we have reached $1,700 in donations since the match started on October 22; THANK YOU MANITOBA BLUE CROSS! You can still get your donation matched $1 for $1 as Penner International Inc. is matching all donations up to a total of $1,000, help us reach our goal at www.jubileefund.ca so we can continue our poverty reduction efforts in Manitoba!
