I came into care with my sister Leslie and we were both so scared but my foster parents sure changed that in a hurry with all the love and affection they gave us. Now I am a very sweet confident little girl. I am also pretty cute to if I do say so myself. I am very chill and love to play. My sister picks on me sometimes but that doesn't bother me cause even though I'm pretty tiny, I am starting to hold my own and let her know when enough is enough. If you happened to have other pets I think it would be great. I haven't met any cats yet but I get along great with my puppy foster sister. I am learning new things every day. Do you have any of those little human people with those yummy things called fingers and toes? Beware cause I have sharp little teeth and I'm not afraid to use them. Because of my obsession with toes I have had a lot of practice hearing a word called NO but my foster parents say it's all a part of my learning and I am listening very well. Instead of toes they just give me one of my toys that I also like to chew. Teething is not fun but I hear it goes away in time. I have not had any accidents in the house, not a one, I'm so proud of myself, but I am still a puppy so it may or may not happen. Just watch for my tells that I need to go but mostly I will let you know out loud when its time. I have a nice comfy bed that I like to nap on during the day but at night I sleep in my kennel and apparently sleeping all night right till morning without fuss is a big deal. I might like it best to know you are close as I have learned that that having humans is pretty sweet. I can't go for walks yet but I think when I learn how it would make me very happy. I'm very calm and I may be a bit scared but I think I would enjoy walking down the street showing off my new family. Oh one more thing, my absolutely all time favourite thing to do is snuggle. I was such a scared little girl when I came into care with my sister Ann, but my foster parents gave me lots of love and now I am a much more confident, fun loving, sweet girl that has quite the personality. I am told I have the most amazing markings that make me oh so cute. I love being outside and wrestling with my sister and foster sister. I used to play a little rough with my tiny sister but according to my foster pawrents it's like night and day - whatever that means. I haven't met any cats yet but I do great with other dogs. If you have any of those little humans in your family you might want to remember that I am a puppy and might get a little nippy but so far I really don't nip much at all. Because I have sharp teeth and I'm teething you might need to keep an eye on me just in case. If I do nip, I will listen when you tell me no and will gladly chew on anything else you want to give me. I have not had any accidents in the house but I am still just a pup so it might happen. I promise that I'll do my best to keep my track record intact. I make it known when I need to go out. I get so vocal about it sometimes my foster mom says I sound like a little dolphin (just another part of my charm). Once I know where to go to be let out I'm sure I'll do just great. I am kennel trained and sleep in my kennel all night without a peep. I like it best when I know you are close because I've decided that having a human to care for me is pretty sweet. I can't go for walks yet because I haven't had all my shots but I think I would like that very much as I love romping and running around in the yard and investigating all the new things. As you can see, I’m 13 1/2 lbs of pure perfection! Do you want someone that loves being petted and cuddling up to you at bedtime? Want a BFF thats never gone outside the litter box and always uses his scratching posts? Want someone to entertain you with his Jumanji sounding laps around the house? Want to play hide and seek and have me jump out at you as you walk by? Want to take me outside for some safe and supervised play time? If so, we sound like the purrefect match! I’m happy to say that I would get along with any human members of your family as I’m very gentle and loving. Unfortunately, my new home won’t be able to include other cats but I could potentially live with a dog/s as long as they are cat savvy and non aggressive as I am currently living with one and behave myself.....most of the time....but can pull some serious cat-ittude with them which can include some -no claws out- slaps. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just sometimes I don’t like it when they walk past me, look at me or breathe my air. You know, just me being a normal cat. Loja - Adopted! Age: 8 weeks (2020-11-25) | Sex: Female Breed: Mixed | Size: L (50-80 lbs) Mutt-O-Meter: GREEN ... Hi. I am Loja from the Ecuadorian litter. Although my foster family thinks I should be called Tigger because I don’t just run, I bounce! I am a very smart and happy girl who loves to play and receive belly rubs. I am quick to learn and very friendly. I spend most of my day trying to get my brother Manta and my foster family to chase me and play with me. I am still just a baby and so I am still working on house training. I am happy to go outside, and learning to tell my foster family when I need to go to the bathroom. Inside the house I am pretty good at remembering to use puppy training pads. I am not crate trained, but I do sleep in a puppy pen with my brother Manta and am used to having my own place to sleep and spend time while my foster family is busy. Like most puppies, I sometimes get so excited to see and play with people that I try to put them in my mouth. Cindy Clawford is my name, and you can see why! While I don’t actually have a runway, The window sill is my favourite spot to show the entire neighbour hood my stunning looks. I am the sweetest girl who really just enjoys the cushy inside life. I have a cute little meow that comes out when you feed me....or if I think you should feed me! My fur is silky fine and even though I spend lots of time on it, I do enjoy the spa treatment with a good brushing and even like my nails being done too! I love following my humans around and get along with the resident cat. He doesn’t have much to do with me so I respect his space. I would play but I’ll wait till he is ready. I have not met any kids but I’m told I would love them. My humans talk about the kid test...hmmmm.....must be when they smother me in kisses, play with my ears, paws and tail, then get held like a baby with belly rubs. A+!! I’ll take that test any day!! I especially love kids!! I am almost fully housetrained and working on crate training (I just need some treats). When I am in the crate, I can sleep throughout the night! I’m pretty smart! I LOVE going for walks, but do need practice on the leash. I am a bit leash reactive so some training will help with this. I get a bit anxious on walks and bark lots. I would do best if you had a fully fenced backyard that I can run around in! I came into foster care with another dog buddy and we got along pretty good. Since then, I haven’t had a chance to hang out with other dogs. If you have another dog, it is best if we have a proper meeting first to see if we get along. A nice slow introduction in a safe yard off leash might be best. It’s not guaranteed I will be the best fit for all dogs. I have not met cats so I’m not sure how I would react to those felines. I am a little cautious, but once we get to know each other I will cuddle up in your lap anytime you sit on the floor. In fact, seeing people in the morning is my favorite part of the day. I love to play tug of war, and really enjoy finding any socks or mittens you may leave on the floor or where I can reach them especially any that are soft or furry! I am still just a baby and so am working on house training. I am happy to go outside, and learning to tell my foster family when I need to go to the bathroom. Inside the house I am getting better at remembering to use puppy training pads. I am not crate trained, but I do sleep in a puppy pen with my sister Loja and am used to having my own place to sleep and spend time while my foster family is busy. Hello my name is Posey, but my foster mum calls me Nosey Posey because I like to know what you are doing ALL the time. I’m a big puppy that’s all!! I am house trained. At bedtime, I go in my crate and you don’t even hear a peep from me all night. Foster mum also puts me in my crate occasionally when she goes out during the day. I don’t like that very much, but I do settle down quickly and wait patiently for her to come home. Being a big puppy, I have some energy. I would require a fenced yard so I can go out and play a lot. I also go for walks everyday with foster mum. I am quite good on my leash unless I see another dog, then I get quite excited. Foster mum often distracts me with treats, so I am working on it. I am also not crazy about cats (I think they are just too much like rabbits and squirrels). I consider myself a bit of a lap dog and I love lots and lots of cuddles and rubs. As I said, I am still a big puppy so probably best with no smaller children as I still mouth a little bit especially when I want someone to rub me I am working on that too and I am much better than I used to be. Although I was a super trooper and had some injuries after a run in with a car, I want everyone to know I am all good now and you wouldn’t even know I had an accident. Beth Age: 8 weeks (2020-09-25) | Sex: Female Breed: Mixed | Size: L (50-80 lbs) Mutt-O-Meter: GREEN... Hi! I’m Beth! I came in with my 4 other siblings as part of the Good Girls Litter. I am friendly, energetic and love to play with my foster human brothers and my siblings. I believe I am part Husky and I love to be outside, running around with my brother and sister. I seem to be the more confident one and will stray a little further to check out the big yard we have here it’s all so exciting! I don’t have all my shots yet, so I haven’t been on actual walks but I think I’ll love the extra exercise. Once I am all played out I tend to run to your feet and whine to be picked up. I haven’t really gotten this house training thing down yet, and I would rather play with the newspaper/pee pads than actually use them, however, I do believe with some training I will figure this out no problem! I have taken a notice to the family dog in the house and always try to chase her. I also get along great with my young foster human brothers. I am still young so I do jump and nip so I do need to be watched. I haven’t met any cats yet. I dislike being in an xpen, and much prefer having a larger area to sleep and play in. I am not crate trained and I sleep in a bigger closed off area right now which I much prefer. I do tend to whine a bit however, if given a good toy or treat to distract myself from wanting to play with humans, I will settle and sleep. Quizno Age: 5 months (2020-06-06) | Sex: Male Breed: Mixed | Size: L (50-80 lbs) Mutt-O-Meter: GREEN... Hi there! I’m Quizno I’m a spunky pup and some of my favourite things to do are cuddle with my foster family, chew on toys and eat treats! I love bones and frozen kongs and they do a pretty good job of keeping me occupied for awhile. I sleep in my kennel during the night and while my foster family is away. I don’t love it in there, but after taking about 10 minutes to realize they are not letting me back out, I’ll settle in and stay there for the whole night! (It sweetens the deal if you put a bone or kong in there with me) I love dogs! So much so that I have a hard time restraining myself and usually run towards them at full speed. For small or timid dogs this can be scary, but I promise I’m working on it! My foster parents say that I don’t know how big I am, but I’m just a pup, I can’t be THAT big. Right?! Because of this, and the fact that I love to play, any cats or dogs I live with need to be very dog saavy, and either willing to play or to show me clearly that they don’t want to. Any kids in my home should also be dog saavy because I do jump when I get excited and haven’t figured out which ones are toys and which ones aren’t. Sometimes I nibble on toes or hands, but I’ll choose a toy over that if you bring one my way! I haven’t had any accidents in the house since I arrived at my foster home, but I do need to be watched because I am still a puppy. I love it outside and will scratch at the door when I need to go out. I’m also pretty good on leash (and off leash, if I do say so myself), but I’ll pull when I’m excited. Hi I’m Bailey from the Finding Dory litter! I was born in care with my 9 other siblings! I am a very sweet girl who can be a little shy at first. New noises can be a bit scary, but my foster mom is there to give me pets and tell me it’s ok. My foster mom says I am very soft and she loves my glasses markings. I don’t know what that means, but she gives me lots of kisses so I think that’s a good thing. I am an active girl that loves to run and play outside with my sister, and often I get evening zoomies, but after I’ve zoomed and played, I LOVE to nap! I have also discovered the joy of digging and have fun in the soft dirt in the backyard. My foster mom says this is probably because of the husky part of me. I was the first one to go down my foster mom’s stairs and even showed my sister Becky how to do it! I have met an older dog and was a little scared of her, but I think I will be ok with other dogs as long as I have time to get used to them. I haven’t been on any walks yet as I haven’t had all of my vaccines, but I think I will like those. I am working on housetraining, but I am still learning so please be patient with me. I like to play, a lot. I tend to nip but I’m working on that. If you give me something to chew on I’m usually good. I’m newspaper trained for the most part, but I do this thing where I run in circles backwards while pooping so... sometimes I miss. I don’t like the cold, at all! My foster mom brings me out and I shiver and cry. I don’t know why she keeps bringing me out. I like the indoors very much. I’m not kennel trained but I am xpen trained. I’m good with cats, kids and dogs. My foster brother wears these big slippers so when I nip it doesn’t bother him. That’s a lot of fun for me.
