If someone had an PROM programmer sitting on a shelf someplace collecting dust we might be able to put it to use. Ditto for an EEPROM eraser. (I know we can just sit the chip on the window ledge for a week but if you’ve got one you haven’t used this century...)

Hi folks. If you are curious about Allstar or know anyone who is: Myself, VE3RWJ, and Patrick Purdue, KE4DYI, both white caners, contributed a podcast episode... to the CQ Blind Hams Podcast recently. The episode is entitled Allstar 101. It's a brief introduction to what Allstar is, how it works in general terms, a few short demos, and it's under half an hour in length. If you listen to podcasts simply look for "CQ blind Hams" in your podcast app of choice. Alternatively, if you aren't a podcast listener or still own a flip phone, here's a link to the audio of this particular episode on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5iI96NaTPU I participated in the conversation and contributed the show notes. Patrick did the amazing audio production.. 73, Chris de VE3RWJ

This should be a safety wakeup call for anyone working on antenna work ground crew. Or for that matter EVERY ONE working ON the tower, on the ground. The dro...pped needle nosed pliers pierced Automotive sheet steel hood, probably 4 inches deep. Could be a fatal impact if a person's head. Wear Hard HATS EVERYBODY! Preferably fiberglass not aluminum. (Photo from the group "I take pictures of transmitter sites") See more

Not just for the executive but anyone with specific skillsets in -computer networking -digital networks... -telephony -APRS specifically getting older TNCs working -SMD experience (we have some radios that need some components changed to bring them down into the 2m band; we’ll supply the components, you bring the rework station )
