Hello Manitouwadge and surrounding communities. We would like to advise the public that we have made some adjustments to our COVID Screening process. Please read this post in it's entirety. If you have travelled outside of Northern Ontario, we require you to wait 14 days before being seen in the office.... If you have tested positive for COVID or been contacted by the Health Unit to self-isolate due to close contact with a positive case, we require you to finish your self-isolation period before being seen in office. If you have any of the following symptoms, we require you to be asymptomatic before being seen in office, even if the symptoms are not believed to be COVID related. Fever New onset of cough Worsening chronic cough Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing Sore throat Difficulty swallowing Decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell Chills Headaches Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches(myalgias) Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain Pink eye or conjunctivitis Runny nose/nasal congestion without other known cause We understand people have heard these COVID screening questions at many places the last 10 months and it seems repetitive but we must ask ALL these questions to protect yourself, our staff and all of our patients. *IMPORTANT* If a patient fails the COVID screening questions therefor cannot be seen in office but has a dental emergency, we will set up a phone conversation with the patient and Dr. Mersal. Patients who arrive at the office are required to sanitize their hands and to wear a mask, if they do not have a mask, one will be provided to them. Patients will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Patients are to come by themselves, unless a child or patient needs assistance. We will permit one person to be support. If possible, patients are asked to wait in their vehicle until their appointment, call 1-807-826-2777 or text 1-807-228-4739 when they arrive. This is to help monitor the amount of people in the office at one time. Our Office hours will remain the same Monday - Thursday 9-5 (closed 12-1 for lunch) If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call.

We have some great news Manitouwadge! We will be resuming our regular office hours starting Monday June 8th. Office hours are: Monday-Thursday from 9-5 (closed at 12-1 for lunch).... The Manitouwadge Dental office is sad to announce that our beloved dentist Dr. Malik will no longer be with us in Manitouwadge. He is off to start exciting new dental adventures elsewhere. Thank you very much Dr.Malik for the amazing time we had you here helping our community! You will be missed! We are also excited to let all of our amazing patients know that we have Dr. Mersal starting in our office Monday March 2. We are very exited to start our new adventure with Dr.Mersal.
