Ottawa, can we talk about these rising case #'s? (hint: this is a long one, but hopefully worth the read) Yes, there is clearly cause for concern. If we don't g...et a handle on this, it could undermine all the work we’ve done. But while we're seeing new cases, the solution to the issue isn't new. In fact, it's a solution we all know. COVID-19 hasn't gone anywhere. The virus is still here, and if we're gonna get these case #'s back down, we need to keep doing the things that we know work: frequent hand-washing, practicing physical distancing, wearing masks and staying home when sick. Learning to live with the virus won't be easy. None of us are perfect, but we MUST be COVID-wise & be mindful of our risks when choosing activities. The rise in case #'s shows us that our actions have a real impact on cases. When we take our eyes off the ball, case #'s rise. It's that simple. Ottawa, PLEASE listen closely: we WILL get through this. This city, with no exceptions, is the greatest city we could ever ask to be a part of, and we're honoured to be your health unit. We'll keep working for as long as it takes to get the job done. So let's do this, Ottawa. We know you can do this because we've already seen you flatten our curve! M-A-N-O-T-I-C-K Marathon Man! - Yesterday our good friend Steve completed a full marathon...in Manotick! All 42.42K of it with a finish in front of @692coffeeandbar! - It was epic! With the @instriderunning and his family all over those 42K he finished in a time of 3hrs 56mins SOLO!... - So now the question is?! Manotick Miler marathon? #MMM . .
