One of my favorite Summer Salads. Ingredients: 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced 1 bunch radishes, thinly sliced... 2 Apples, thinly sliced 2-3 tbsp fresh dill, chopped 2-3 tbsp chives, chopped Yogurt Dressing: 1 cup greek yogurt 2 tsp white vinegar 1 tsp raw honey 2 tsp dijon mustard 2 cloves garlic minced 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper Adjust seasoning if desired. 1. It takes longer than you think. Be prepared to be on this journey for a long time. You can lose weight fast.. no doubt about that.. just don't eat, but you wont be able to sustain it. You will most likely be miserable and as a result break down and binge. Than you will start over eventually and by doing that you will join the yo yo cycle. My advice, take it slow cause there is no prize for finishing first.... 2. Losing weight is the easy part ( relatively speaking ) keeping it off is an entirely different story. You often lose sight after you reach your goal, stay focused on what has to happen next. What are you goals/plans for maintaining your weight loss? Now planning is as important as ever! 3. There are a lot of shiny new pennies out there, and they are all to good to be true. Stick with the dirty old nickel. Calorie deficit, protein, strength training and movement. Healthy Banana Chocolate Loaf 3/4 cup flour 1/2 cup oat flour 1/3 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened... 1 cup dark chocolate chips, I would recommend 1/2 cup 1 egg 2/3 cup plain greek yogurt 1/3 cup honey ( can use unsweetened apple sauce ) 1/2 cup coconut oil ( liquid ) 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp instant coffee 3 bananas, mashed Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a loaf pan with coconut oil and sprinkle with cocoa. Set aside. Mix dry and wet ingredients in seperate bowls. Add wet to dry and mix together until fully incorporated. Do not over mix batter. Bake at 350F for 40-50 min or until toothpick comes out clean, let stand for 10 min before removing it from pan than cool on wire rack. Enjoy!
