Atlin's underwater world is a whole new cosmos to me. Trying myself in underwater photography ... one curious grayling at a time.
The great escape. Even a few month into this current "Covid normal", it feels odd adjusting. We can count ourselves lucky to live in the great, wide North, with lots of space around us and beautiful, remote destinations to head to. Even a small trip into the backcountry feels like the great escape from the everyday weirdness. Let me take you with me on these little escapes. How about a lonely island during midnight-sun sunsets? Like Horseshoe Island on Atlin Lake ...
And all of a sudden it was spring in the North.
Safe Haven. Ventured out with one of my favourite models Kylie Malo to create some magic.
A little winter magic to brighten a foggy Sunday :)

Wishing you a fabulous start into a new, exciting decade. 2019 has come and gone and personally I can't wait to start freshfull of energy and a positive attitude. The last year's had a lot of challenges in its bag: many lessons learned, a real rollercoaster experience. I'm certainly ready for new beginnings.... Leaving my last image of the old decade herean under-ice-sheet view of the little creek that runs in our backyard. May you all feel the magic of this brand-new year, full of hope, love and laughter. May you all stay healthy and happy! Here's to 2020!
