We have an immediate opening for an energetic individual with basic mechanical aptitude to join our team as a shop helper/apprentice. As a shop helper/apprentice, you will be assisting licensed mechanics with repairs, oil changes, grease jobs, parts run and ensuring tidiness of the shop. We strive to achieve a higher level of service and maintenance for our clients. The ideal candidate will develop with our organization and grow the skills to advance. - Must be physically fit to be able to perform daily duties - Assisting with minor repairs and diagnosis of commercial trucks/trailers and diesel pickup trucks - Perform miscellaneous activities to help trades-persons, apprentices and other workers as needed - Organizing tools and parts as necessary - Preparing parts for reassembly - Ensuring tidiness of the shop - Valid Class 5 drivers license is required - Previous experience in a diesel truck repair shop is an asset While we appreciate all who apply, only applicants being considered for an interview will be contacted.
