Maple Ridge BC Purple Angel Dementia Support

Well here it is June 1st. Can you believe we were all just tidying up from the holidays, celebrating New Years Day and checking our bank balances. It gets faster as we age. Been really busy with Dementia Activities and Supports. Going out to next community, Mission to speak to a group, busy with the Dementia Advocacy Canada group, so interesting, and seem so much better when busy. ... Have had some interesting experiences like tremors and of course not when you expect, what the hell, who expects tremors, finding myself on a bit of a tread mill, painting a new landscape, gardening, getting up and getting dressed buy hey I made a potato salad all by myself. Now that is something. Memory issues very apparent to me but can still slide by except for last week at an event Purple Angel Support was hosting and the day of the week, the next time we would be there, etc, was gone. totally gone. I was stumbling over my words but as ever folks are so understanding. Names, direct questions, day of the week or month, all of these things are foreign but hey I did make that potato salad. I do know that when I stop being a dementia support person my life will change and not in a positive way, but till then it's like the Carry On Gang. Keep well in mind and body,
