International students: temporary changes to the post-graduation work permit (PGWP) program put in place earlier in the pandemic are being extended and expanded.... Studies completed outside Canada up to December 31, 2021, will count towards a future PGWP and allow international students to complete their entire program online from abroad while still being eligible for a PGWP. These temporary changes apply to all international students who are enrolled in a PGWP-eligible program, and meet all other PGWP criteria. Important update for those travelling to Canada by land

New travel restrictions have just been announced by the Federal government. They will involve the following : - All returning passengers will have to take a test for covid at the airport and then isolate in a hotel for 3 days at their own expense - If the test returns negative, they can continue their mandatory self-isolation at home, if positive- they will have to remain in a designated quarantine facility... -all flights to Carribeans and Mexico will be cancelled till April.
