Ta da! The girls have done it again! Come and get some at the Almonte Farmers’ Market tomorrow!

Fastest Way to Heaven: 1 cucumber, chopped into cubish bits; some sweet onion, chopped finely; 2-3 sprigs of fresh dill, chopped up; two or so tbsp. plain yogurt; salt and pepper. Mix and let sit for an hour, then dig in.

Time to get picklin’!

Nice to have some company while hoeing the melons and winter squash on this beautiful Canada Day! Started the day cultivating with Winnie and Nick so the soil is fluffy.

We're going to have lots of delicious spinach at the market this week! Lettuce too! Oh ya, pork also!

Robins have hatched! They are in my potting shed. We have been trying to keep out of their way. It's been a real treat to watch it all unfolding from the beginning. Last year she made a nest IN the greenhouse, and ended up abandoning it. She learned and now the world is 4 Robins richer!

What a sigh of relief!
