To strip or not to strip the existing asphalt shingles on a re-roof that is getting metal, thats a good question! We prefer to strip down to the plywood, replace any plywood that needs it, re-paper, install new vents and install new metal. It can be done the other way, no striping off existing asphalt, strap over top and install new metal although it does have some disadvantages mostly related to holding a lot of heat in the summer. As a business supplying a service with warranty its not very advantageous. Better business and better sense to get that existing roof bare and make a proper assessment from there! #metalroof #roofmart #taberalberta #bbb

Call today, schedule an on-site consult which sometimes can take about a week to get both parties schedules to click, depending on the components and who is all involved we are looking at 2-3 weeks for your estimate to be completed and emailed. Maybe longer.
